COVID-19 April 30th

Hello everyone

Have we all adjusted to this “everyday is Blursday” thing?

I feel the latest news is encouraging and Acer and I are hoping that we will see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.

First of all – thank you everyone for all your well wishes, online purchases, donations and pay-it-forwards.  Your encouragement has meant a lot to us here as we try to thread our way through the maze of government subsidies.
I am happy to let you know that All About Dogs should be able to take advantage of the supports for small businesses that are gradually coming into place.
The last… hurdle (excuse the pun 😂) will be the finer details with regards to the proposed rent relief program that should be rolled out soon.
🍁💗Thank you Canada!!💗🍁

I wanted to keep you all in the loop as to what we are working on and planning for here. We are still in the midst of formulating both written documentation as well as video demos of our basic training programs. It’s actually a huge job but one that I am happy to turn to now that we have almost finished with our “stability” plan.

During the past few weeks, I have been lucky enough to be able to conduct a few Virtual Private training sessions and so nice to be able to guide owners from afar without their puppies being distracted by me!!

To streamline these sessions I had Brittany create an online intake and booking page to get us started.

A “Magic Wand” Icon is quite appropriate. Don’t you agree?

We have been getting excellent feed back on these easy to book in home private sessions.

In other news!

With the generous assistance of some helpful “AAD Elves”,  we have also revamped our “secret garden” side yards to be ready for private off leash play times.

There are two fully fenced yards – one for general off leash romping and the other for agility practice times!

A great opportunity to introduce your dog to outdoor training conditions or practice your dog’s weaves and teeter while awaiting the time when we can open the doors to our training halls again.

Come take a tour with Acer!

We also have a bit of a surprise for you…

The pool has actually been finished and ready to accept dog paddling adventurers since March 10!

How ironic after all of the set backs, trials and tribulations, that our actual opening was delayed by the outbreak of a global pandemic! Go figure.

Anyway, we are very excited to share these photos of the pristine salt waters of Echo’s Pool!

We are listening closely to the government’s proposed reopening of the economy and we are very hopeful that the pool will be one of the first things that we will be able to provide as a single person rental service.

We are looking forward to seeing you all soon…. from a leash length away!
Renee & Co.
